Brynna Aylward on Embracing a Challenger Spirit
Last month, adam&eveDDB announced that Brynna Aylward would be joining the agency as its first Chief Creative Officer across its New York and West Coast offices.
Although she mentions her top priorities coming into this role are the people and creating great work, Brynna recently sat down with Little Black Book to discuss something else that is vital in this new position, and that is her approach to creative leadership and how her personal style of leadership has actually been something she has cultivated throughout her entire career.
Brynna specifically mentions, “As I’ve progressed in my career, I’ve grown to value candor more and more. In going from the Midwest to Miami to Canada to NYC, I’ve found that cultural norms and approaches vary, but the necessity and ultimately the kindness of transparent feedback is consistent. Delivering it is how I’ve grown as a leader and how I’ve helped my people grow and it’s something I’m always working to get better at.”
We are super excited to see where Brynna takes the agency in 2025 across our work, our people and our culture.
