Coors Light and DDB hit refresh

DDB and Coors Light tapped into the reality of Americans stuck at home working, sitting in front of their laptops for hours with virtual backgrounds surrounding them. Inspired by these virtual backgrounds, DDB and Coors Light debuted a campaign sweepstakes to take Coors Light drinkers to their dream destinations.

Breaking free from the mundane reality of working from home, the spot’s star heads out of his home with a Coors Light and dances through the neighborhood before finding himself in his virtual background – all to the tune of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic “Oh What a Beautiful Morning.” To enter into the sweepstakes, participants simply sent a selfie in their virtual backgrounds getaway to win an all-expense paid trip their destination when the pandemic was no longer a travel hazard.
